Deep Steaming
... with the most efficient system: the steaming plough!
| Deep steaming with the steaming plough |
| | Steam ploughing is the most efficient but also the most expensive option. If the soil is loosened properly, the steaming depth of up to 60cm at 90°C can be easily achieved. The steaming width is up to 3.2m which requires a steam capacity of 1000 kg/hr/plough. For further steaming, a steaming sheet of 10 - 15m length x steaming width is drawn behind the plough. The adjustable steaming depth is set with the stabilising rollers running in front of the device. The plough is drawn by 2 steel cables, operated by a 0.5 hp drive, with special 3-stage gearbox, for fully adjustable speed from 5 - 15m/hr.
The average working speed is about 10m/hr. |
| | | AGROFRIGOR, Bratislava/SLK | | | | All steaming ploughs have their own steam supply of 1000kg/h. The steam supply consists of quick coupling pipes at the front and 10m stainless steel hoses at the plough end. | | | | | Staatsgut KRIMICE, Pilzen/CZ | | | | The drive units have a capacity of 0.5hp / 350 Volt. The tensile loading is approximately 2 ton. The anchoring needs to be suitably strong. | | | | | Staatsgut KRIMICE, Pilzen/CZ | | | | The running direction is controlled on the cable rollers, to the exact cm. The steaming depth is regulated with the stabilising rollers in front of the steamer. | | | | | Staatsgut KRIMICE, Pilzen/CZ | | | | Each plough has a 10m trailing sheet to ensure that the freshly steamed soil stays covered for approximately 1 hour after steaming (at running speed of 10m/hr). | | | | | Staatsgut KRIMICE, Pilzen/CZ | | | | Fully automated deep steaming with a tracked vehicle! Stationary S-1200 oil-fired steam boiler, 1000lt oil tank, water tank with automatic feed-water pump and direct steam supply. | | | | | | | | | Fitted with spade machine for deep soil loosening up to 40cm, with combined steaming plough: 3m working width, steaming depth 40cm/90°C, running speed 15m/h. | | | |
